The Paradijskerk (paradise church) is an old catholic church building situated at the beginning of the nieuwe Binnenweg.
It was built between 1908-1910 as a replacement for an older church. It’s interior was designed in such a way so as to accommodate the latter’s main pieces. It is adorned by two 50 meter high towers in baroque style as well as a magnificent organ and is one of the few churches that survived the WWII Rotterdam bombardment in May 1940. Now days the Church also accommodates a number of acoustic concerts.
