The Arminius Church, is a dutch national monument, situated on the corner of the Westersingel and the Museumpark. It was built between 1895 and 1897 by architects Henri Evers and Jacobus Pieter Stok. It was originally built to replace an older church that had suffered too much water damage. Evers used early christian Syrian churches as his inspiration for Arminius’s design. The decorative elements are vivid Art Nouveau influences.
